A College
Fair......and More!
The
concept for the QUEST College Fair developed out of a desire to provide post-secondary information for students
in West Cobb, as well as the surrounding areas. The program is specifically intended
to target 10th and 11th grade students to assist them in the development of a plan of action beyond
high school. The goal is to allow ample opportunity for students to make educational and career decisions while
still in high school.
The QUEST Fair is a well-rounded educational evening for students and parents where they can explore numerous post-secondary
options including colleges and universities, technical schools, military, etc. Also
included will be information about financial assistance.
Several Workshop Sessions of interest for students and their parents will begin 1/2 hour prior to the start
of the fair and will continue throughout the evening. Breakout sessions will be conducted on Financial Aid, NCAA
Eligibility and NCAA Clearinghouse Procedures, the College Application Process, and the Military Service Academies.
The QUEST Fair is hosted by the North Cobb, McEachern, Kennesaw Mountain, Harrison
and Hillgrove High School Guidance Departments and their PTSAs. The fair rotates on an annual basis between
the schools.
